Hunnap Han is a 250 year old Ottoman Mansion. It is located in one of the oldest village of Turkey, named Adatepe. Adatepe is a village where Greeks and Turks lived together for 1000 years.
In 1997, after 3 years of restoration, Hunnap Han was opened with the special permission given to historical buildings to serve as a hotel. In addition to 22 rooms, hotel has a conference room, a bar and a restaurant with beautiful sea view.
Hunnap Han took its name from the 170 year old sacred tree in its garden. The Hünnap tree, called zizyphus jujuba in Latin, is known as the branch of Jesus Christ’s crown. Its fruit is used in medicine to cure heart diseases and high cholesterol. Furthermore, the tea made from its leaves is used for asthma, bronchitis, stomach and intestinal diseases.
